What Does Numerology Confirm about Being a Mother

‘Mothers’ – Some people can’t live with them and others can’t live without them but in all cases, none of us would be here if it were not for them. Women take on a massive life changing experience to carry a baby from conception to birth and whether the baby stays with mum or not it will always be a miracle between mum and the fertile egg that evolved within her.

From this perspective, mothers are the nearest thing to God regarding miracles and somehow, even when raising children, mums just seem to have a magical inner sense and knowing about her cubs. As the saying goes’ mum knows best when observing her child.

What happens when we step into the role of being a mother? I took a look through Numerology and the numbers to understand more. The whole name of Mother adds to a 7. This gives us the expression; which includes the talents, skills and shortfalls that arise from the role of mother.

The vibration from the name Mother brings to us a person with an analytical mind and a huge desire to understand answers to life’s hidden questions and each and every one of her children. It is through our children that we discover so much more than just a relationship; we dabble in philosophy, mysticism and even science. I remember with my third baby, the children and I explored what was going on inside mummy’s tummy and how the baby was growing.

A mother has a great sense of knowing and a yearning to seek the truth for both herself and her offspring. And so begins the journey and evolution from a singular lifestyle to one of life’s greatest teachers tirelessly working to prepare and guide her children for the outside world.

Like all numbers, the 7 Energy Expression Number will have challenges, hurdles and obstacles that with the love for her child will have mum endlessly do due diligence over and over to avoids risk and pain to her offspring. The scepticism and other lower aspects of this 7 Energy could cause mum to hold onto to her cubs too tightly or for too long stunting emotional and mental growth of her cubs. Wrapping children in cotton wool is not a realistic approach to supporting the child’s long-term growth. Look to understand the difference between illusion and reality. As a mother, you are able to tune into your fine and exquisite mind to find insight for the next step forward. Allow your child to fall at times, understand you will not always be there in every moment and they need to be able to pick themselves up and dust down to expand.

Mums, be conscious that you are still a person that needs love, care, peace and time out, ‘me time’ to rejuvenate and repair. By awarding this to yourself you will be better equipped to call upon solutions and clarity during difficult and challenging times. I can not emphasise enough that you need time to be by yourself.  Too much social interaction can cause stress, fatigue and leave you depleted. You also need your privacy and a place that you can shut off from the hustle and bustle of life. ‘Children, toilet breaks are for mum and need to be in private even in the early days’. There needs to be a transition period and in today’s fast paced and over protected world this seems to have been overlooked.

As women. you have gone from an adult and a ‘me’ world to a baby/child world, which is almost all about them. This challenges the intellectual 7 who craves stimuli to the brain. It is the thinking number. How many times have you heard a mother mention she feels brain dead after spending endless hours and days with a toddler? Somehow in this role you tend to keep your thoughts to yourself, it is here that you stop being you and appear to wear the labels of mum, mother, Jenny or Charlie’s mum and then comes the day when you realise you refer to your children’s friends mums as someone’s mum and are now guilty of not seeing the amazing woman before you or her seeing you for that matter. Yes being a mum can steal your identity.

At the same time being a mother will give you experience and growth no other job can. As a mum, you suddenly appear to know it all, or at least you think you do and when you watch other mums you may well find yourself judging their capability and parenting practices. Lol! They are on a similar journey to you and the difference lies in each persona’s Numerology stacked up behind the role of ‘Mother’. However watching other mums, you could become over-protective and when Charlie asks can he go to Ryan’s house for tea, you forget Charlie and Ryan’s friendship and make the decision on how you see the mum. That’s not to say Charliedoes not get out for tea but your 7 energy will make sure you know endless information about Ryan’s family background and their history, after all, Charlie is priceless to you and there is no bond greater than the metaphorical umbilical cord between mother and child. Seriously, is it ever cut; their pain is your pain as is their joy.

The ‘seven’ vibration is the seeker and searcher and every step of the way in your child’s life you will be doing this, what baby food, best nursery, followed by every level of schooling and education and you will go to the end of the earth to have your child in the place you feel is best. There is not a role that you won’t perfect and your child will become your greatest motivator in skills that you never dreamed possible for you. The 7 seeks mastery.

The 7 energy highlights a mother to have great counselling skills and when we add the 11/2 energy from this name vibration of Mother; the heart energy we are adding into the mix; mediation, cooperation, harmony, support and intuition.

When we look at the 7 in the role of mother and the rewards, they will seldom come in the form of material gain but in contentment from a higher source.

A mother, no matter her age appears to acquire wisdom beyond her years. The heart energy of a mother is one of peacemaker. You have a hidden ability to settle conflicts and create harmony. You are a healer and a visionary. Think of all the sibling squabbles you have worked through and how you have created a vision when things have been tough and you have had to lead the family through.

Have you ever noticed how intuitive a mother is? She seems to know stuff without the children sharing, where things are or what the children want or needs. Mother’s are magic and they do have eyes in the back of their head. A mother wants to please often at the cost of her own well-being; this is where a good supportive partner and father come in but we will leave dad for Father’s Day. The 11/2 and the 7 combination have a mother ‘feel for’ and understand others, dad and each of her children – we need to remember though that the others, dad and the children need to assist and support mum by not being selfish and thinking they are the only one to get their desire. As a mediator mum wants to find the solutions but she needs a willing team.

Now while we have been looking at the inner self of Mother, let’s take a brief look at the external self. This shows up in the 5 energy, adventurous, stimulating, sociable, communicative and charismatic, how else does a mum enter a class full of primary school children and have them willingly read or bake with her. Added to this the 5 brings big energy and a willingness to learn new things.

This is the number where mum gets her negotiation skills from and her enthusiasm to play the same games over and over, whether football or Barbies and still make each time feel like the first time. This 5 energy gives mum’s the adaptability to automatically pick up the role of educator, chauffeur, chef, care-giver, story-teller or organiser, while at the same time, be ready at any moment for whatever may suddenly drop into her lap.

A point of warning here – mum’s are not robots and on day’s like today (Mother’s Day), her birthday and from some period throughout every day mum’s should be credited, valued and appreciated for the Super Hero in them to manage to always pull things together.

Let your mum know how special she is. Remember to say thank you for your washing, your meals and your clean home. And accept that all lifts are a gift, whether to school, a friends or work. Mother’s are the most hardworking people you will ever meet at home, in the community and at work and they do it all without payment. So chip in, help out, unload the dishwasher, run the vacuum around the house and put your laundry in the basket, she is your mum and not your servant. Without her, you would be just a pipe dream.

May today be a day your family look after you so that you get to sit back and observe your clan for a change opposed to being in the midst of them. It will give you an alternative perspective. Mums enjoy your cubs for one day they will fly the nest and embark on their own journey which you will have laid the foundations for.

And mums, remember you too have a mother

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY to the 2 billion mums across the globe even if today is not officially Mother’s Day for you, you still deserve a mention.

Do we Die Because we are Old Or Because we have Stopped Starting?

4 Generations and 3 Major Stages of Numerology

Numerology

Age is just a number and to a Numerologist, the number is an indication of what you could be doing at each moment in time. The numbers work in a Cycle of 9, it is that simple, with ‘one’ denoting a new beginning and ‘nine’ an ending. What most people fail to see is that endings throughout life are inevitable, end of breastfeeding, crawling, nursery, school, a relationship, a job, a home location etc., and yet life has not ended for in the very next moment there is a new beginning – solid food, walking, school, university or a career, other friendships, promotion or a change of career, possibly parenthood and a new home that works better for your circumstances.

Great Video Looking at Age

I saw this video today and wanted to share how narrow-minded some of us can be and how with a little more knowledge we can open up to see things differently.

Do we die because we are old?

Or do we die because we have stopped starting?

Learn something new every day. Stretch and grow the mind, expand your heart and see every age has its benefits. This art to living lies in fulfilment. Your soul seeks only one thing – fulfilment. Fulfilment comes in many guises, joy, peace, clarity, connection, compassion, acceptance, release, love; love for the self, the environment and the things you do. Feel this every day and you will feel alive and in harmony with your soul.

All too often people live in the past – ‘I use to be a size 10’, ‘I was fitter before marriage or kids’ or they spend too much time in the future ‘When I achieve this I will’ or ‘When I am in the perfect relationship I will’ but when you live in the NOW and connect with how you feel, you can realign yourself constantly to be the best you in every moment. It is called the ‘present’ because it is a gift from the universe.

The Major Cycles

Numerology highlights many Cycles and while I am on the topic of age I share that we will move through 3 major cycles/stages during a full lifetime;

Initial stage – youthful and impressionable, you will be collecting downloads from family, friends, communities and teachers. You look externally for guidance. Towards the end of this stage, you begin to question yourself as your self-reliance grows and you prepare to move into the second cycle.

Middle stage – adulthood and relationship, you will work through the initial beliefs discarding some and emphasising others. Now you are learning and acknowledging your individuality, this takes place in three stages:

  • first, how to handle the responsibility;
  • second understanding the ethics behind compromise;
  • third, understanding yourself through others. In this cycle, you begin to acknowledge your role in society.

Third stage – wisdom and self-acceptance, you will experience life on a deeper level; you will share openly with others your experience and learnings. You will also receive recognition for your insight, wisdom and guidance.

Life is all about being you; living on purpose and serving your mission through your own unique individuality and essence.

Next time you consider you are feeling old alter your perspective for only with age can wisdom blossom. Next time you have an ache or pain consider what you are blocking and let go of blaming age for the cause. And next time you meet an ending STOP for a moment and be grateful for just around the corner a new beginning is coming to you.

NEVER stop growing and learning. Remain young and inquisitive at heart. Be curious. Let go of fear and be open to love.

What might be in store for you when you open up to understanding Numerology?

Here is a quick chart to see what your Major Cycles have in store for you.

Major Cycles

All numbers are reduced down to a single digit accept 11 and 22. There is no twenty-second month, hence the dash in First Major Stage column.Example of reducing December month 12 (1 + 2 = 3) December is a 3 Month cycle

December month 12 (1 + 2 = 3) December is a 3 Month cycle

Example of reducing the number 24 (2 + 4 = 6) 24 is a 6 day second cycle

Example of reducing the number 1989 (1 + 9 + 8 + 9 = 27) (2 + 7 = 9) is a 9 year third cycle

While you may currently be in a ‘dependable’ stage (birth month 8), your next segment could be ‘adventuresome’ (birth day 5) – that’s how my path has been going and in a number of years time I will be in my third stage so best keep creating new adventures so that I can take my experiences into my wisdom cycle. What might your birthday reveal about you and your cycles?

How does this make you feel?

Share in the comments box. I would love to hear about the Path you have chosen in this Lifetime.

Travel – The Soul’s Journey

Wish You Were Here...

I feel alive when I travel. I love different landscapes, cultures, history, monuments and people. However, for the last twelve years, I have travelled less across the globe and spent more time crossing the terrains within. The energy and perspective have been ever changing, for every step forward, there have been several backwards. There have been light, sometimes bright, other times dimmer and then there have been moments when just a flicker; I have barely been able to breathe for fear of blowing it out. I have stood high on the mountain top of happiness and next, I have found myself sliding downhill to deep dark caverns of depression.

What kind of journey is this you may ask?
Who wants to vacate there?

If you had asked me this a while back, I would have replied not me ‘I AM A CELEBRITY, GET ME OUT OF HERE’ but now I am here at this point, if I were to write a postcard to you, it would read “Wish you were here”.

Why would I wish this on anyone, you may be thinking. Jo is one crazy lady. Thank you, but no thanks, tear up that ticket.

I say hold that thought; before you tear the ticket, ask yourself this.

Who am I? Why am I here? Why am I at this crossroads? And why have I been led to Jo’s Blog?

Do you every sit and wonder; what if, why, how, if only?
Or made the statement “I have a dream one day, when X, Y and Z are in place I am going to…”

Then stay with me. I had been doing everything ‘right’, at least I thought I was according to society. I had been a good girl, gone to school, achieved an education, went to work, worked hard and excelled up the career ladder. I learned to drive, bought a car, bought a house, made it a home, built a relationship, got married, become a mother, raised my children, had many friends, paid my dues, gave my respect and followed protocol – Phew, a lot of ticks on my ‘Be A Good Person in Today’s Society To Do List’. I was so proud of myself, I had accomplished them all and I was still in my prime. I was an achiever and it felt good.

To my family and friends I had it all and I did at that point but gradually this perfect scenario held little to no comfort, its lustre was fading and the cracks were beginning to show. My perfect dream was becoming my ultimate nightmare. My life was like one of those dreams where everything is falling away and no matter how many hands the dream-self manifested, there just was not enough and at one point I looked like a multi-dexterous octopus. Every tentacle was working to fill the cracks and the faster I worked the harder it became. The cracks turned to crevices and then rifts. I was so focused on filling the cracks that I stopped seeing everything that was causing my world earthquake.

It was while in these cracks, my vision narrowed, I could see less and less glory and more and more failings. And so my personal Innercising began. It has taken me a long time to understand what happened. One of the greatest gifts I discovered at this time was Numerology.

So what did Numerology show me? In brief; initially, I was in an 8 Cycle, living in a higher aspect, reward, recognition, respect, self-motivated, driven and organised, this was the number Cycle of personal power, career, finance and manifestation. The first Cycle is the Cycle of ‘Youth’; the period of self-discovery.

Then I found myself in a new zone with my second Cycle being a 5. These are two different vibrations and my transition was not smooth. I was now vibrating in a 5 energy and at a lower aspect. My world was constantly changing. I became a new mum, got offered my dream job as an interior designer, juggled both, felt pregnant again, moved, fell pregnant again, in hospital, out of hospital, moved again, divorced, started to work for myself, moved again, no rest bite, constant change when all I wanted to do was be free, travel the world, but no I was to move again. The 5 energy is all about adaptability, being multi-talented, resourceful and resilient and while there were much of these traits, there was also a lot of feeling scattered, I was inconsistent, found it difficult to commit and at times intolerant. This is the number of freedom and adventure and yet I had felt more trapped. The second Cycle is the Cycle of ‘Maturity’; the period of stability. So as you can see there is a conflict of energy here, the freedom 5 and the stable part of my life.

Where to next? My last Cycle will be a 9. The 9 is a number associated with forgiveness; to others and the self. Being about to forgive and let go opens the channels for a fruitful and rewarding time. It will be a time to take the wisdom from my experiences and pass this onto others in order to serve a greater cause within humanity. The third Cycle is the Cycle of ‘Wisdom’; the period of self-empowerment and specialisation.

Everything has been lining up and I am confident that the 9 Cycle will enable me to share my knowledge and specialisation with the world.

Life is not about the destination, it is about the journey.
Numerology leads us to our own guidebook.
And it all starts with our date of birth.

David Bowie Lived His Life Path Full Out – Imagine How Your Life Would Be If You Did The Same

549px-David_Bowie_holywood
David Bowie 8 January 1947 – 10 January 2016

It is with sadness and respect that I write this post today.

Every day I turn on my news feed – Facebook. I have a belief the news that is meant to come my way does.
How does this work you may ask? – Simples!
When we are linked with people on similar journeys at varying levels, relevant information comes through that resonates with me. It is more in line and accurate as it is from a source I trust unlike the general media that has been fixed.

To share this morning what caught my attention was the news of one of the greatest music legend of our time; while it did not read as I am about to share, the  but in my world I saw that

David Bowie has left planet earth.

The link shared that Bowie had been privately battling Cancer for 18 months and passed away on Sunday 10th January, his son made a statement on his Social Media to confirm this.

On reflection who was David Bowie?

Firstly, his birth name was not Bowie, it was David Robert Jones. He changed his name to avoid confusion as there was a similar musician called Davy Jones who played in the hit band and TV show The Monkees.

Bowie was true to his life Path, which explains why he was a genius at his art and mega successful with it; in 2013 statistics show him to be included on the list of top 20 wealthiest British Musician; he produced 27 studio albums, 8 live albums and 10 compilation albums. And acted in 34 Films, 5 as himself and one as a narrator.

Born 8th January 1947 he arrived to earth from Mars most possibly on a 12/3 Life Path; the path of creativity and self expression; a path where we often find many great writers, poets, actors and musicians. Creativity comes in many guises and for it 3 it often shines through image which we can safely agree that Bowie played this out well whether on stage or off. Every phase of his life had his own take on who he was at the time – a mind in a man’s body.

Bowie was known for his wit, charm along with his gift for gab and 100% savoured the limelight as a self expressing 3 would. He expressed himself through lyrics, music, dance, production, acting, entertaining, photography and painting. He has created a number of pieces of art, I believe in oil with another artist Beezy Bailey. Bowie used his creativity in everything he did, from music to costume, from acting to make-up and in life. He was diverse, witty and entertaining, his story telling mesmerising. Take a look at this clip to prove my point

When we are in alignment with our Path things line up, not all at first or at once. It took David years to get established which most probably helped and prepared him for each time he altered his persona. The 3 Path shows us he was born with creativity and imagination and when allowed to develop it took him wide and far and in David’s case even to ‘space’.

For many 3’s they have a longing to express from a young age but all too often society and education can get in the way, especially back in the 50’s. I would hazard a guess that Bowie’s 37/1 Expression had much to play here in keeping him focused because his Life Path 3 would have had him scattered.

At 9 Bowie’s dance teacher described Bowie’s movements as “vividly artistic” and his poise “astonishing” for a child. The same year his interest in music was stimulated after his father bought home some American 45’s. It was on hearing ‘Tutti Frutti’, he claimed to have heard God.

Bowie’s thirst for creativity was always there, before leaving education he studied art, music and design, including layout and typesetting at Bromley Technical School, here he met George Underwood who later did the artwork on Bowie’s Hunky Dory and The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars albums. George is the reason Bowie was left with one pupil permanently dilated. They had a fight over a girl and George punched David in the eye whilst wearing a sharp ring. It took 4 months of operations and left Bowie with a faulty depth perception.

Bowie's Eyes, revisited

Thanks to his gift for self expression, David was able to be the life of many a party and the centre of much attention. The making of Bowie was when he learned about persona through Lindsay Kemp which in turn created Ziggy Stardust and later The Thin White Duke. I recall this the Ziggy era so well

The 3 energy gives one optimism and resilience to overcome many setbacks and Bowie had many of these. He moved from band to band finding his way with little to no success until Space Oddity.

While Bowie has many music achievements he also has as many acting credits. With his 37/1 Expression we can see why he was a creative leader reaching out to higher realms and having a heart desire number of 32/5 and a personality of 32/5 it is not a surprise that he was well travelled, diverse and had challenges with addiction. To close this brief introspective on David we look at his 4 maturity number, he was born to work to the end and find order in doing so, giving us his latest album ‘Blackstar’ on his 69th Birthday – January 8 2016.

David Robert Jones ‘BOWIE’ may your journey continue to be as amazing as the past 69 years have been. You touched many of us and will continue to do so for many years to come.
Thank you.

Discovering my numbers has given me so much understanding of who I am and why I am here. I was not tuned in like David Bowie, I was a wandering soul. Are you a wandering soul?

December Vibrations, What’s In Store For You

What gift's are in store for you during December
What gift’s are in store for you during December
Personal Month

With today being the beginning of a new month, we are all moving into a new energy so I wanted to share what could be creating your joyful moments and what could show up and challenge you.

To work out your personal month you need to add together your day of birth, your month of birth and the current year.

Here is an example using the date August 14th 2015

August is the 8th month so it equals 8
The day is the 14th, (all numbers are reduced to a single digit) 14 = 1 + 4 = 5
The year 2015 = 2 + 0 + 1 + 5 = 8

Next add each single digit 8 + 5 + 8 = 21 = 2 + 1 = 3

This birth date will be living a month of 3 energy – A joyful and creative month with unlimited ideas and communication.

Take a look at both vibrations and ask yourself where would you like to be vibrating? What do you need to do to avoid the low vibration?
When we become more aware of how we are behaving, we begin to see how we are serving our selves.

If you find yourself vibrating low, take a look at the high vibration of the number and find activities to bring you there.

How will you be vibrating this month?
