What is Love – The 7 Stages We Go Through To Go Full Cycle

The Power of LOVE
The Power of LOVE

Today I want to talk about love. What is love and why does it constantly change?

As a human we go through many emotions and various forms of love. Listed below are the 7 Stages We Go Through To Go Full Cycle.

• Unconditional love – (Parent and children) most children receive this love at birth because most parents naturally give it. There is no judgement or expectation, just love.

• Guided love – This is still unconditional to the parent but to the child it has rules and boundaries and feels different. They have not yet grasped their environment has danger zones, fire, traffic, falls etc. and the ever guiding parent starts to implement restrictions for the child’s safety and protection.

• Conditional love – As children grow into teenagers, they have not developed the understanding of guided love and begin to feel rejected, confined and unheard within the relationship and parents tend to feel over inclined to protect them from the bumps in life causing friction to build and conditions are formed. It is often at this point our young ones seek intimate relationships in a way to feel the unconditional love we all crave at our core.

• Tough love – love that comes from the heart even though it appears not to be love at all. The person receiving the ‘tough love’ is all in their head, the ‘poor me’ the ‘victim’. The giver of this love does not always feel good about giving it but soon learns unless this love is used the other person will not grow in wisdom.

• Intentional love – We can achieve anything in life with intention. The Law of Attraction is always working, what people struggle to realise is that the Law works on intention and not thought. When we intend to love someone we can. We start looking for the beauty and good. The real beauty is not on the surface but inside. Looks often fade as we move through life, constantly challenged and pressured. A mother often stands by her children at all costs even if they have committed a crime because they know what is truly inside their child, long before the child knows. When we set the intention of love we receive the result of love.

• Self love – This is the most important love, the first and main love. We are born with this love. Without it we could not survive as we enter this earthly plain. Initially we are focused on being warm, clean, fed and cuddled.

Did you know that cuddling wards off depression, relieves anxiety and strengthens the immune system?

Unfortunately we grow to rely on others for love and forget to give to the self. Self love as an adult means looking after yourself, putting your oxygen mask on first so that you are best equipped to look out for others.

• Unconditional love – second time around this feels like enlightenment. Inside there is a calm feeling of peace. Once we return to loving our self for our own beauty and uniqueness we can then love others from that same non judgemental perspective.

The best person to love you is you. You know you better than anyone else. Become your best friend. Think how you pick up your young child’s spirit or that of your best friend. Treat yourself with the same respect you would them.

People treat you the way you treat your self. If you are not happy with how you are treating people, lead by example; love your self how you wish others to love you. People do as you do and not as you say.

Love changes, people find them selves in and out of love or at least they think they do but love does not live in the head, it lives in the heart; they heart can not think because the heart ‘feels’. If you are not feeling loved right now check in with your feelings, they are whispering to you all the time what your soul is seeking.

Become your cheer leader; serve your self as you would a guest.

  • Love is the strongest source of energy, it build bridges, connects families and creates peace, it can even stop wars.
  • Emotions tell us so much when we STOP judging them.
  • Everything is energy, something I learned from Numerology

Make Your Own Essential Oil Deodorant

Turning towards nature to nurture me well
Turning towards nature to nurture me well

The Healing Energy of Essential Oils

If we think about essential oils we think about healing and caring along with nurture and nature.

In Numerology Essential Oils vibrates at a 6 energy, highlighting its loving caring tendencies to put the needs of others before itself. Over generations and generations it has proven a responsible and trustworthy source to turn to for healing and well-being. It brings our ‘being’ back into balance and that is what the 6 energy does – balance.

Each oil has its own path, healing and realigning our organs, bodies and environment. The oils can be used internally (with care), neat or in fluids, on the body in lotions, creams and hair products, in the air through a vapour machine or burner or for cleaning and sanitising our homes.

Essential Oils have made it their duty to serve us our whole life as would someone on a 6 path. Using Essential Oils creates harmony in the body and the environment and beauty within our skin. You can guarantee the oils will lift your mood and spirit, just as mum does when we slip back home for a pick-me-up..

The benefits of Essential Oils have been underutilised due to modern day processes and sacrificed for profit within the chemical industry. The 6 energy can often find themselves with talent and creativity being left undeveloped or suppressed as a result of their tendency to sacrifice their time, recognition and pleasure in order to provide the service for others.

Ironically or not, according to the 6 vibration, Essential Oils have a natural gift with flowers, gardens, people and animals; clarity that they are natural nurturers. Within this vibration we find counsellors, healers and teachers of special education and ancient traditions. If you are drawn to Essential Oils there is a high chance you have a 6 somewhere in your numbers; I said high chance as this is not always the case and 6 is not the only healing number.

As I have mentioned the oils have been around for eons, waiting for people to reconnect with them; we all have ‘freewill’ which does the deciding for us so what might be holding us back? Education and the way we have been taught. When you think back to feeling ill, what did your parents suggest? Let me guess – ‘Best to go see the doctor’. We have unconsciously programmed ourselves look to a ‘professional’ for advice and not feel our way through it. On top of that homoeopathy and holistic approaches have been forced out of the picture for big ‘pharma’. When people understand these oils are here to serve humanity and not the mighty corporations and as each of us open up to our truth we will see that our creator has provided everything for us to be comfortable and well here on earth if we choose.

The 6 is the most balanced of all numbers and therefore will throw up all contradictions within it just as we do in ourselves. As the healer number, the 6 is able to listen to all sides and help one move to the higher intention which is to best serve the self.

When using Essential Oils beware of their power, follow the guidelines as too much can be an overdose. I read recently that it takes approximately 250lbs of peppermint leaf to make one pound of peppermint essential oil and 1000’s of rose petals to make the same so use sparingly and as directed.

You can use essential oils for a number of things; today I am going to share one of my favourite ways to use Peppermint essential oil within a home made powder recipe for deodorant.

How I started using this natural deodorant is a post for another day, however I will confirm here that I am not an essential oil expert, I made my discoveries by trawling the internet using my truth seeking 7 energy, I have attended a few workshops on making products and have tested them on myself for about a year now.

Homemade Deodorant Powder With Peppermint Essential Oils

Ingredients
1/4 cup of Baking Soda.
1/8 cup of Arrowroot
1/8 cup of Rice Flour
20 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil

(You can replace this with Lavender, Lemongrass, Rose, Geranium for ladies and Rosemary, Bergamot or Cypress for men)

Utensils
Small mixing bowl
Fork

To Store
3 small containers with lids
3 make-up pads

Pop all the dry ingredients into the small mixing bowl and with a fork mix until completely together. Next add 20 drops of chosen essential oil, I used Peppermint and quickly mix in to disperse the oils throughout. Scatter as you drop the oils so they don’t all clog in one place.

Separate out into the 3 containers, add the pad and close swiftly to encapsulate the aroma.

To Use
Dab pad in powder and apply to your underarms as necessary.

This leaves me feeling fresh as a daisy or should I say a Peppermint. Sorry got carried away with my thoughts.

Enjoy your time creating and playing in the kitchen, our biggest medicine cabinet.

My share: I do not like to smell stinky and for ages I thought I could not switch from my strong aerosol can of 24 hour, no stains, deodorant and antiperspirant but I have and it really does work for me.

December Vibrations, What’s In Store For You

What gift's are in store for you during December
What gift’s are in store for you during December
Personal Month

With today being the beginning of a new month, we are all moving into a new energy so I wanted to share what could be creating your joyful moments and what could show up and challenge you.

To work out your personal month you need to add together your day of birth, your month of birth and the current year.

Here is an example using the date August 14th 2015

August is the 8th month so it equals 8
The day is the 14th, (all numbers are reduced to a single digit) 14 = 1 + 4 = 5
The year 2015 = 2 + 0 + 1 + 5 = 8

Next add each single digit 8 + 5 + 8 = 21 = 2 + 1 = 3

This birth date will be living a month of 3 energy – A joyful and creative month with unlimited ideas and communication.

Take a look at both vibrations and ask yourself where would you like to be vibrating? What do you need to do to avoid the low vibration?
When we become more aware of how we are behaving, we begin to see how we are serving our selves.

If you find yourself vibrating low, take a look at the high vibration of the number and find activities to bring you there.

How will you be vibrating this month?

Check your family out and see what they are showing up as energetically.

Meditation With Our Children, Benefits and Bonding

Meditation With Children Benefits Us All
Meditation With Children Benefits Us All

I was recently asked about meditation for children and I was replying I thought what a wonderful topic for today’s blog post.

The Age of Innocence
From 0 – 7 our children are in their innocence stage which means they are, most of the time living in the present moment; the space where all knowing stems from. However, with each year that passes their environment will prompt them to look into the past and the future, and with human time constraints they will have to start to work at spending time in the now. During these years our young ones are like sponges soaking up their environment, family, beliefs and behaviours. Much of our programming stems from this age bracket.

Meditation
Meditation is a great way of doing that, it allows us to slow down the thoughts and be at one; at peace and open. Meditation takes us to the other side of the thoughts and invites in the knowledge, the genius, the guidance and the freedom our soul cherishes. Meditation can be as short as a minute or two or many hours long. Many people do a morning and evening meditation, while some do just one. Meditation is not a restricted structured practice and as one learns to reconnect with themselves they will find their own balance. However, it is never too young to learn and I feel that if schools could include meditation I their timetable, our children will create a quality environment in school, with their friends and at home. Doing it before exams brings clarity and before sleep, it leads to a restful slumber.

The Breath
A good starting block is to work with the breath; taking a deep inhalation in allowing the belly to inflate like a balloon followed by a slow deep exhalation to deflate the balloon (This is a good visualisation of what is going on and children will find it easy to understand. Now, we can accept this breathing action in a number of ways such as;

• Our lungs are filling with oxygen to revitalise and regenerate our body
• Or we could immerse the self deeper and accept that each breath in is full of universal love passing through us and healing our soul before it moves on with the outwards breath
• Or with each inhalation we are connecting with spirit to guide us to freedom, internal beauty and unconditional love before we release any stagnant energy and blockages in order to create inner peace

Which ever works best for you, for me it is all three.

Breath work is a great way of taking the focus away from the thoughts allowing your mind to take a break, even a holiday.

Storytime
Children get into a space of stillness very easily especially when you read to them. I found reading to my children created calmness, it caused them to still. During the day, the stories would be filled with different voices and tonality with hand movements to keep them interested and intrigued and then before bed, the stories would be soft and slowly narrated. I often found the books with no or limited words were the best for ad-lib, each time creating a new tale. There is a great little book called

Peaceful Piggy Meditation. Click here for details.

Lead Them By What You Do
Another way of introducing your child to meditation is when they are happily playing you could explain that you are about to be still in meditation and you will be unable to answer their questions or play with them for the next 5 – 10 minutes and during this time could they agree to be as quiet as a mouse as you want to clear your mind (note: to meditate, silence is not required, the idea is to be at peace even when the noise is all around us).

Physical Connection
Perhaps as they observe you, they will either honour your request and be rewarded with 5 – 10 minutes of your time after the meditation or you could invite them to join you. Sit on the floor with your back upright, lean against the sofa for support if necessary, then have them sit in front of you with their back to you, they can lean back into you if that is more comfortable for you both, now find a suitable way to put your arms around their waist, over their shoulders or rest them on their shoulders and set aside at least a 5 minute connection time. Either way whether it is just you meditating or you both are, the energy ripples out and your child will be within the vibration. Children do as we do way more than as we say. Children will emulate parents and incorporate these powerful tips at a younger age, if parents are also practising meditation. We are their role models.

Guided Visualisation
Another idea would be to lead them through a guided meditation. Have them sit quietly and close their eyes. You could guide them through 3 breathes and then gently take them into the visualisation. I have included many suggestions but in each case pick one at each level. Next time you can pick a different one.

Have them create a wonderful place in their minds eye (imagination), suggest it to be in a field, a woodland, on the beach, by the camp fire or on top of the mountain; they don’t share it with you but keep slowly talking and guiding them to feel comfortable there. Explain this is one of their favourite places that is filled with magic. Have them look around and take it all in, the view, the colour, the feeling, the sounds, the smells if there are any. Allow them to submerge into the vision. When it feels right have them gently look into the distance where something has caught their attention, perhaps a bird singing, a flower blooming, an animal passing by, a chair or a box, tin or bag (these are all symbols). Focusing on the symbol, have them move closer to it. Invite them to connect with whatever it is; and either watch it, talk with it, touch it or play with it. Throughout the meditation create time space for them to explore the journey. Next have them ask internally to the symbol ‘I hear you have a gift or message for me, can I have it please? ’.

Give them a moment to receive the message and suggest they find a way to store it; either in her pocket, written on paper, in a jar, as a photograph or a recording. You will feel your way through this and when the time is right you suggest that she thanks the symbol for their time and wisdom and with the message safely tucked away have her slowly come back into the room.

This can take any where between a couple of minutes or be extended to as long as desired.

After meditation, have them share it with you; as much or as little as they choose. Ask them if they have any idea what the message means to them as this is one of the ways the universe can guide us.

You can meditate your self at the same time; yours will be a mindful meditation as you will be guiding both of you. Perhaps share your meditation with your child if that works for you as a child will see the message with innocence and without attachment. They could help you unravel a major challenge and find a conclusion.

Benefits and Bonding
Meditating with your child has heaps of benefits; you will both have down time, peace, stillness and clarity. You will have created a bonding and an activity that brings a wonderful connection between you both. Your child will learn how this great tool serves them, putting your mind as a parent to rest, enabling you to feel that they will be able to over-ride stresses of emotions, struggles, friendships and later in life help them with tensions around studies and exams.

This time spent together can be classed as precious time in our face paced world, for many of us we struggle to give our self permission to stop but we will find time for our children so why not make it a joint benefit as you and your child embraces the craft of meditation and visualisation.

Tune Into Your Personal Vibration and Flow

calendar-151591_640
Where is your FLOW today?

Personal Days

GO FOR WHAT YOU WANT

Day 1 is the day of creation, time to start something, time to make a plan and act on it. Seek the new; job, project, promotion. Take the lead focus on the outcome. Stand on your own two feet. Trust your intuition. Move forward, create, invent and begin .

KEEP YOUR TONGUE STILL AND YOUR LIPS CURLED UPWARDS

Day 2 is the day of collection, be receptive, receive graciously. Use the soft approach, create harmony. Stand in the other person’s shoes. Be supportive of others, listen more and speak less. Be guided and follow, observe. Collect information, data, facts, things and friends. Be patient, straighten any misunderstandings, apologise and cooperate. Patience is an art.

SHINE LIKE A BEACON

Day 3 is the day of self expression; sing, dance and create sunshine where there is rain. Take everything at face value, don’t plan ahead, live in the moment and be inquisitive as a child full of fun, imagination and creativity. Compliment others, praise and bless them. Socialise and entertain for both work and personal, stare obstacles in the eye and use them to elevate you

TODAY CREATE THE FOUNDATIONS OF A REWARDING TOMORROW

Day 4 is the day work, structure, foundations and precision. Add some music to create good flow and stick to the schedule, checking the list as you go. Put everything in order at home, at work, in finances and well-being, no room for bulges, everything neat and symmetrical. Think house building, foundations, quality materials, craftsmanship, in detailed order always aiming to place the roof on top and then see the reward.

MAKE A NEW SONG FOR A TALE SO OLD

Day 5 is the day of expansion and freedom. Released from yesterday’s details you are ready to expand your curiosity in all directions. It’s time to make new friends, go to new places, take chances and modify the mundane. Turn left instead of right; see things from a different angle or perspective. Everything today should be hands on and experiential. Watch a different genre of film and do something someone else loves so that you feel their passion in your new learning. Promote yourself and your business. Be versatile and be flexible.

OIL THE CARBURETTOR, MOW THE LAWN AND HAVE THE TABLE LAID

Day 6 is a day of adjustment, time to be ready for what may come your way. It is all about responsibility; are you shirking yours or poking your nose in others. Time to connect and care for the family and community but be careful not to meddle; you will not be thanked for it. Spick and span is the order of the day, spring clean, repair, maintain, redecorate and rearrange, do you have enough chairs, is the bread fresh and have the coffee on. Today you are ready to nurture and serve. Make those phone calls you have been putting off, especially to your parents or sick aunt and if at work be there for your employees.

TIME TO RETREAT AND REPLENISH, YOUR TRUTH IS CALLING YOU

Day 7 is a day of introspection with the air of that snugly stay at home Sunday feeling. Everything today is for you, let go of the rush and the panic and find a quiet spot where you can have peace and tranquillity. If not all of the day, at least part of the day should be spent alone, remove the noise, take your ear buds out, turn off the radio and TV and tune into your higher self. Activities for the day are meditation, visualisation, innersising and breathing for it is time to be present. Stop, look and listen to your world. Mindfulness will give you new insights; acknowledge your emotions, all of them, listen to the voice from within for guidance. Get out in nature you need space from the hamster wheel even for a small period of time. This will ground you for the days ahead. Study, research, analyse and correlate. You may feel like withdrawing from the world, time to be alone but not lonely.

ALL FIRED UP, IT’S TIME TO GO

Day 8 is a day of executive power, organise your forces, look at your affairs, know where you stand. Take hold of the opportunities, cast away your doubts, cash in on your hard work, it’s time to harvest; you reap what you have sown and nurtured. Success breeds success. Acknowledge your creative power and advance forward; stand up, stand out and elevate others. Empowerment is there when you stand tall and strong, material and financial gain is possible. You are not dependant on others; you gain the confidence of others with your strength. Money is a stepping stone; attract it for the greater purpose and not self indulgence. The main aim for attracting money is to give to the self making you catered for to serve others. Money flows and you must do the same. Today you play the cards you have been dealt in the previous seven days. The results coincide with the vibration you have been resonating at.

WE ARE ALL CONNECTED THROUGH ENERGY AND VIBRATION

Day 9 is a day of conclusion and compassion; see the good in the things you don’t. How have you added to the environment, what humanitarian things can you assist with…? After yesterday’s lesson it is now time to give back; financially, with service, with compassion and as an equal. No one is better than another, we are all on a journey with one purpose, to raise the vibration on earth and evolve our soul. Today see only people’s good qualities, let go of any and all judgement. Be charitable. Today is about completion, tie up loose ends, sign contracts, cancel subscriptions, let go of what has not been working in order to make space for the new of tomorrow. If you have a presentation or a public speaking event your audience is waiting to be uplifted. Today you are connected to the universal love and understanding for others and or our planet. Know your pain is my pain as is your pleasure. How you vibrate ripples outward to others. Tomorrow is a new day, built on the good you have done today and over the 8 days.
