What’s In A Name – It is More Thank A Label

Whats in a name
Expression Number

The Importance of Names

What’s in a name – Mmmm… Now there’s a thought to ponder…

– Did we choose our name? or did our name choose us?

Have you ever wondered about your name; why your parents chose it; what it really means and why we feel the way we do about it?

I am here to tell you, your name is no error even if it contains a mistake; has been misspelled, is not your gender, after a football team, reversed or written in a handwriting you had to guess at, this is the name you chose to have before coming here to earth.

Now that may be a little hard to acknowledge depending on your belief system; so if you found my last statement difficult to accept and still believe or blame your parents for your name I will add the following – whether your parents knew your name their whole life or it took them 10 seconds to decide, this name IS 100% meant to be your name.

Names are labels, a way we identify ourselves. Throughout time the giving of names has become significant in how we are recognised.

Examples stem from belonging to our father in names like Hud’s son or John’s son
Or our mother’s with names like Molson (from Moll, shortened version of Mary), Madison (from Maud) or Emmott (from Emma)
A name may have been associated with one’s job, Tailor or Miller.
Some names were taken from the location they came from, River, Creek or Hill.
While others may have come from a characteristic, Long, Tall or Little for the body type or Green, Black or Blue from the eyes.
If you worked for the kingdom, you may have been called Knight, Earl or King
Others were named after objects including plants such as Rose, Heather, or Moss.
And if your name ends with ‘El’ a name for God this signified power; an interesting example of an ‘el’ would be Lionel (Lion God).
With regards to a name like Peacock, they may have developed from vanity.

With Numerology and the placement of the name we can learn so much about our self.

First name describes our physical self, how we live, work and play.
Middle name highlights our emotional self, how we feel and react in relationships
Last name is hereditary, gifted down through the generation and radiates the spiritual self.

When a woman marries and takes the husband’s surname she moves into the energy of the new family.

From the letters of the whole name, the first 3 pieces of information we look for is the person’s Expression, passion (Heart’s desire) and their Personality (how people initially see them). Every letter has a vibration as follows:

Every letter has a value

We Become What We Believe

Our Beliefs can Empower and Dis-empower Us
Our Beliefs can Empower and Dis-empower Us

What Are Beliefs

A belief is an assumed truth or conviction that we have created or been given that anchors us to our world. They are always in motion, constantly influencing our thoughts, feelings, and behaviour.

I have chosen to talk about beliefs today as I have been doing Oprah and Deepak 21-Day Meditation Experience, Become What You Believe! It has been an incredible 21 days of growth and understanding. The more aware I become of who I am, how I feel and what leads me to do what I do the brighter and abundant my world appears.

On top of the meditations I looked to the numbers to understand further the power of ‘Beliefs’, you may find this helpful in understanding the power of a belief and how it drives you. Some beliefs can and do change as we grow and evolve, while others remain with us our whole life.

During the first week we learned how power our beliefs are, they can drive us to greatness when they are strong and smart however when we are vibrating at a lower frequency our beliefs becoming limiting; we are not smart enough, liked enough or worthy they are still powerful but in a self sabotaging way. In the second week we discovered our underlying core beliefs of love, self-worth, feeling secure, and feeling whole. The third and final week leads us through self awareness, the more positive and empowering our beliefs the more we understand and accept our ‘faith’. To conclude the series I share a clip from the ‘Message of the day’ – We have been looking at belief as a way to reach our inner reality. As we step into the light of our true self, we realise that pure awareness is a state of true knowledge. It is not a belief; it is a knowing. Our true self is not a particular kind of knowledge; it is “knowingness” itself. This state is the gift of living from your core beliefs. This is the fulfilment of becoming what you believe.

Beliefs and Numerology No. 4

Beliefs are the bedrock of existence and the foundation of actions, motivation and intentions. They allow us to organise and manage our approach to life. Consciously or unconsciously beliefs allow us to build and do turning our dreams into reality.

They create a structure that we build from, a place we start from and a destination we aim for.
Whether the beliefs are ours or that of our family we take these them seriously, keeping us reliable and responsible, however they can keep us too narrowly focused.

Beliefs are held strongly, they create a trust in what you know pushing away the unconventional, preferring instead the tried-and-the-true. They can also slow you down, cause frustration as they can feel like limitations. Limitations, like everything always have pro’s and con’s, while they can be restricting, they also teach you caution, due-diligence and mindfulness causing you not to cut corners. Beliefs allow you to come to an understanding that restrictions are guiding forces to test and direct you toward your goals.

Beliefs are so real to us that we feel them to be our truth; they can make us moralistic and somewhat rigid and stubborn. One becomes loyal to their beliefs and it is through loyalty of people that creates trust for you to open up to new beliefs so surround yourself by inspiration people.

Sometime beliefs can keep us in the dark, focus on a knowing that life is meant to be fun and you would do better to lighten up. Check in whether the beliefs have served their time and is it time to let them go…

Use your beliefs wisely, check in to see if they are self sabotaging or empowering you. Empowering beliefs will bring you towards your goal and success.

A check-list for your beliefs;

Are they allowing you to manage, organise or lead?
Are they helping you get your life in order?
Are they creating a good strong solid foundation for your future?

These are 4 energy questions.

The strengths of the 4 energy are disciplined, persistent, focused, organised and stable
The weaknesses are narrow-minded, emotionally closed, inflexible, judgemental and stubborn.

The weakness create the limiting beliefs of I am not worthy. Know that if you are thinking this, it is a belief that is restricting and suffocating you. The opposite belief would be I am worthy. What could you do to turn such a belief around? How will you feel when you accept you are worthy?

Tired of Sleeping – The hidden Benefits

While Cats Like to Nap, Humans Need Sleep
While Cats Like to Nap, Humans Need Sleep

Sleep Easy and Live Effortlessly

Sleep is a condition of optimum health. During sleep it would appear that the body and mind become inactive, as the eyes close, the muscles relax and consciousness appears suspended.

But is this really the case?

Science has proven during the sleep period is when the body repairs itself. Think about it, after a good nights sleep you feel refreshed and when ill after plenty of sleep you feel much better. This is the optimal time for body restoration and important data processing.

While sleeping, we solidify and consolidate memories. The endless build up during the day has to be sorted, processed and filed. You may not be aware but the unconscious mind takes in millions of bits of information per second while the conscious mind is only aware of 7 ± 2. The attitude we take to bed is the energy and perspective the day and information is filed under. A good practice to have this information serve us better is to look for the silver lining from the day’s experiences and give gratitude for them. Understanding how the memories are stored will aid you to comprehend your perception of the world.

Creating a good routine before bed stimulates quality sleep which in turn leads to motivation and empowerment. A well rested person can retain information and perform better on memory tasks; has a healthier body due to the repairing of cells, tissues, muscle, organs and bones within the body and the energy field around it.

To help you understand sleep a little better lets look at the task of sleep through Numerology.

Numerology – Sleep has the 3 energy

With a good nights sleep you are likely to be optimistic, inspiring, outgoing, and expressive. People will see you as a cheerful, positive and charming person with a charismatic energy that can powerfully affects others, often inspiring them without effort.

Quality sleep gives you a clear focused mind allowing an abundance of creativity to shine through in spirit and imagination.

Interrupted and poor sleep will create disorder, a lack of discipline and scatter your talents. In order to compensate your tiredness, escape responsibility and commitment you will look to find distractions like over spending, pointless gossipy socialising or overindulgent eating to keep your energy up.

Sleep is vital to connect with your true potential, it leads to the ability to form creative solutions to overcome problems and challenges in your life, relationships and business. Deep restful sleep could create the spark needed to unleash your imagination to provide unconventional innovative ideas that could make you the leader in your field.

Sleep energises the body and mind making hard work easy; it also allows us to have precision focus to lay the foundations for a successful future.

If there are any challenging situations or conversations that need to be addressed they will be better handled after a good night of restful zzz’s; for when we have rested we are at a place of peace and from this place we are able to express ourselves fully, congruently and with passion or compassion.

With sleep the energy of the 3 is uplifting, optimistic, friendly, charismatic, creative and inspirational.
However with a lack of sleep the 3 energy can leave you scattered, disorganised, irresponsible, superficial, gossipy, critical and melodramatic.

Sleep is vital, important and necessary. Sadly many of us push sleep away in order to work, keep going and to get things done. However with sleep we would have better focus, more energy and accomplish the task in a much shorter time.

May you start to embrace sleep and feel the benefits in your day, relationships and success.

Night, night! Sweet dreams! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz’s

Depression can Reveal our Strength

Our Path can lead us down before it leads us up

Depression is a mood disorder and can affect how you think, feel and behave. It can lead you to feel erratic or lethargic. What I find disconcerting is when you have depression or could be showing signs of it, people tend to shy away and you find yourself left isolated and alone. If this is happening to you, I recommend getting out, even just for a walk perhaps to the local shop. The more often people see you, the more likely they are to say hello again. On each trip make it your purpose to connect with at least one person, even if it’s to ask the time. We all need human interaction and the physical form is much better. Human beings are born to be social and in groups.

I also feel that places like Facebook can be a great help, connect to motivational sites that can uplift your mood. However, if feeling really low, steer clear of over happy people, always posting great this and great that without showing their vulnerability or moments of meltdown, as this can make you feel worse, and perhaps push happiness so far away it seems impossible to reach. I compare this to airbrushed photos, they both hide the truth.

We live in a world of duality, so both feelings are naturally felt. I read so often ‘steer away from negativity’ it will bring you down. It will only bring you down if you allow it or need it. You have attracted this low vibration because of a frequency that you are transmitting. It has crossed your path for a reason, it was meant to, either for you to reach out and serve others, reflect how fortunate you are in comparison to others or to learn what you have been avoiding and suppressing.

Many people want to avoid people with depression as much as those with depression want to avoid themselves and for some they want to avoid themselves so much they, like Robin Williams end up taking their own life leaving those behind full of remorse, frustration and sometimes anger.

I believe that suppression leads to depression. I know I have attempted suppression endless times to avoid being angry or saying something that might hurt someone else’s feelings or to be accepted into a group for fear of being further alone.

Connect with your emotions because your body is telling you something you need to know in order to grow as a person and further connect with your soul.

In the past I avoided the lower vibrating emotions but have now accepted they are my friends as much if not more than laughter, joy and happiness. And the best part, when I do work through the low moods I find more laughter, joy and happiness than I did before only this time it expands from within.

Depression can take people down so low that they often think the pain of death lingers less than the pain of living. And the reason you are still here is because you have not yet accomplished your life’s mission, the greatness with you is waiting to hatch out. From my experience I needed support, I asked for support but I did not receive support not until the day I fell to my knees on the kitchen floor and sobbed my heart out, I asked the power to be, Source to show me a sign, any sign, I was willing and open to see, hear, think, feel, touch, smell, taste a sign. And when the sobbing was finally done I heard a voice telling me I was now in healing and would be guided as requested. I learned that I been asking in the wrong places for support, the system could not serve me because Western culture had little to no concept of what this kind of meltdown meant.

You see if I had lived within an indigenous tribe, a shaman would have a different view of my mental health condition; they believe depression is the birth of a wonderful gifted healer. I am on a Life Path 22/4. Within my duties of many, I am here to understand, love and believe in myself. I will have been tried and testing many times over. From my experience, growth and wisdom, I have various missions to accomplish. I am being guided to raise the consciousness of humanity, merge the polarities, live honestly and with integrity, I will be challenged deeper and harder than many in order to connect compassionately, serve and shine. My task in this life time is to turn your dreams into a reality. This feels so natural to say and share that it must be my truth. The Numerology confirms this.

From my heart to yours, please know you are not alone, depression is leading you to your truth when you stop looking externally and look within. You too have a mission which I will share in a future post.

Until then, know and accept all emotion is important and valid. Do not suppress any emotion as this creates dis-ease and chronic pain. Understanding how the body works energetically allows you to get back on Path; your path.

Have you thought about your path? Do you know for what greatness you are here for?
